SUNSCREENS & TANNING

No matter what time of year it is, or where you live on this vast planet, if your out in the sun, you need sun protection.  A quality sunscreen used over time, can help prevent premature wrinkles and further sun damage such as skin cancer.  So if your a serious tanner, or tan here and there, or even try to avoid being in the sun, you need what we have. 

There are several ways to fit sun protection into your daily skincare routine.  You can choose an spf 15 or greater moisturizer formulated with sunscreen, or you can apply a sunscreen after applying a moisturizer.  I do not recommend spf foundations because they do not usually contain a high enough spf level.  The sunscreen should be the last thing you apply to the skin. So if I were going to add this to my routine, I'd follow the following regimen: cleanse, apply toner, moisturize then spf (or spf15 moisturizer). If this is to heavy, then apply the moisturizer over the dry areas of the face only, and then apply the spf15 cream over the entire face. We do not recommend synthetic sunscreens.  We only offer those with titanium dioxide, paba or/and zinc oxide.  Please read the labels closely so you can make the right choice for you.  We are also looking for alternatives without these ingredients.
