Men are just as interested in caring for their bodies as women are these days.  A man with clean skin and healthy hair can be very sexy.  Why I'm known from time to time to see my husband fancy himself up for me!! And when he does, my head stands high. It makes all those years I've looked nice for him worth it!  But seriously, if men take good care of themselves, they can improve the texture, tone and overall health of their skin and hair.  According to Living Nature, men have an advantage when it comes to skin – and it’s testosterone that makes the difference! Men’s skin is about 25% thicker than women’s and it is often oilier and tougher too, with more collagen and elastin support. Regular shaving provides a natural exfoliation removing dead skin cells, which can help to keep men’s skin looking fresh and vibrant.

Shaving products have come full circle since Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar.  Shaving products have become more sophisticated, but the routine is still nearly the same.  For a better shave, try these suggestions: 1) always shave in the direction of the hair growth.  Shaving against the growth can cause ingrown hairs. 2) before shaving, soften the beard with warm water or a hot towel. 3) don't shave the same area over and over; this can be irritating and can damage new skin cell growth.  4) use a facial scrub once a week to remove dead skin and ingrown hairs. 5) rinse razor blades well after each use and allow to air-dry.  Splashing with aftershave and applying a facial moisturizer will also help hydrate and balance skin after shaving.  Here's looking at you!
