Eye Liner
 Eyeliner is one step that is totally optional. This is the design element in makeup application. It defines and shapes, makes lashes look thicker; But if your not wearing mascara, then it may not look so hot. You may want to think of using shadows as a liner instead, softening it. This looks much better for non-mascara wearers. It is with the liner that color can really be played up. You'll want to make sure you have an eyeliner pencil sharpener in hand always. If the point isn't sharp enough, it can change the width of the line and make it too thick and bulky. You could even scratch the eyelid if the pencil is to short to the wood. For a more precise line, leave the pencil in the freezer for a minute or two. You can warm the pencil between your fingers to apply a softer line of color. Always line last after applying shadow. Powder eyeliners are great because they can be applied wet or dry. Remember not to extend the line past the outer corner of the eye, or hug the tear-drop area of the eye. The lower liner should be less intense, some may even prefer to not line there and just use mascara. Make sure if you do, that both lines meet at the back corner of the eye. Eyeliner in general, is meant to give depth to the lashes and make them appear thicker, so if you do choose a color, it will draw attention past the lash and to the liner, so practice with color or with the classic liners of black, brown and gray. See what looks better and helps you appear younger, more together, etc.
