As the oil is absorbed into the hair and scalp, penetrating the hair shafts and roots, the natural vitality of the oils is transferred to your hair, enlivening both the active and dormant hair roots and follicles, conditioning the hair and stimulating "new" hair growth throughout the entire scalp. Regular treatments with natural hair oils enhance the holistic maintenance of your hair, especially when you are using Morrocco Method shampoos.

Ordinary shampoos containing Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLF) and other chemical additives damage the hair shafts, stripping them of their natural oils, making the hair brittle and dry, and causing split ends. Synthetic shampoos require additional conditioners, which contain chemical additives as well that clog the scalp and follicle openings. Over time, these chemical additives, which are often carcinogenic in nature, seep down into the hair roots and brain cells, often causing premature thinning and eventual significant hair loss.

Regardless of the shampoo you are using, washing your hair contributes to drying it out as well. When you wash your hair, some of your hair's natural oils are always washed out. Several other factors also have a drying effect on your hair: improper diet, emotional stress, and peak summer months, which can also disturb the natural pH balance of your hair. Oil treatments are an excellent antidote to this tendency. When swimming in a pool disinfected or treated with chlorine, it is a good idea to place Euro Organic Oil on your hair and place a swim cap over it to prevent your hair from absorbing damaging chemicals. Or, wet your hair first in a shower or with a hose. Dry hair is like a sponge that will absorb 100% of the chlorine. A wet head will absorb only 20% as much. This does not apply to clean ocean waters. Ocean water is beneficial to hair because of its trace minerals, which are absorbed into the hair and scalp.

Be mindful of the sun. For those with hair thinning and scalp problems, keep your head covered when you are exposed to the sun for an extended period of time. Several hours of sun, especially in the afternoon, can burn your scalp, incinerate your new baby hairs and cause drying that will take several weeks to repair. Do not use sun block on your scalp or hair. it is absorbed by the scalp and clogs the follicle pores, interfering with the natural process of hair growth. During the winter months, when the scalp produces more oil to protect the head from the cold, condition your hair about half as often as you do in the summer. Treating hair with Euro Organic Oil Euro Organic Oil is a high quality, Organic Oil, consisting of a blend of several natural oils known for restoring the natural pH balance of the scalp and stimulating the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum - the natural oil of the hair . This treatment can be applied either in the morning, during the day, or late in the evening.

MORNING TREATMENT: Before showering in the morning, massage the Euro Oil into the hair and scalp, rub it in using a scalp massager, and leave it on while exercising, having breakfast, etc. Then wash out the oil. To remove the oil most effectively, massage the shampoo directly into hair without wetting it first. Then go under the shower, wet hair and shampoo a second time and rinse. Oil and water do not mix. If you wet your hair first, it may take several shampoos to remove the oil, thus weakening the effect of the treatment.

DAY TREATMENT: Massage Euro Organic Oil into hair and scalp using a scalp massager or a Mason Pearson brush, then sit in the sun for 3 to 5 minutes to activate the natural life force of the oil, then leave on from l/2 hour to several hours. Never heat the oil. It will destroy its vitality. Wrap your head in a towel or use a plastic cap or a wet, heated towel. (Wet the towel, ring it out and place in a microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. In cold weather, heat the towel repeatedly).

OVERNIGHT TREATMENT: Massage Euro Organic Oil into hair, saturating the entire scalp. Then brush in the oil all the way down to the ends of your hair using a Mason Pearson brush. Leave the oil on overnight and place a protective towel over the pillow. We wear a ski cap to bed when we oil our hair for the night. This keeps the chi energy contained in the crown chakra, and is a very energizing experience, especially on cool nights.
